Antonio E Costa obtained a BFA degree at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and an MES in Environmental Studies Program at York University, Toronto, besides design in woodworking at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto.

He has participated in art workshops in Southern Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Mexico, Cuba, India, Brazil, Canada and the USA.

Awards and grants include Alliance Francaise, Pondicherry, Canadian High Commission, Zimbabwe, Delfina Studio Trust, Art Residency, Spain, Canada Council Grant, Kenya Society of Arts and Crafts.

His most recent solo shows include Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore, Max Mueller Bhavan, Bangalore, The Fine Art Company, Mumbai, Fundacao Oriente, Goa, La Parete Gallery, Toronto, Jamaat Art Gallery, Mumbai.

E Costa’s works are in public, private and corporate collections all over the world, including state collections in Africa, Canada and India. He presently lives and works in Goa.

Atmanand Chauhan

Atmanand Chauhan did his graduation in Painting from Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Vadodara. His solo shows include ‘Silent Conversation’, at gallery of Modern art N.C.P.A, Mumbai and 'The End' at Faculty of Fine Arts gallery, Baroda.

Ganesh Gohain

Ganesh Gohain, graduated from the Govt College of Art and Crafts, Guwahati, and went on to get a Post Diploma in Sculpture Specialization with a distinstion from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Vadodara, Gujarat. He was invited to the Ecole Superieure Des Beaux-Arts, Le Mans, France on a French Government Grant.

Ganesh exhibited widely in India and abroad including several solo shows in Ecole Superieure Des Beaux Arts (France) and many others. Since his visit to France Ganesh has initiated three residencies and exhibitions with international artists in Vadodara.

He received the Charles Wallace Trust Fellowship to work in the United Kingdom. Thereafter he was also invited to be an Artist in Residence at the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland. Ganesh has participated in several Artists Camps in India and abroad held under the auspices of Art Home, The Fine Art Company and Gallery Espace.

He has participated in several workshops in India and France, including those at the Ecole Superieure Des Beaux Arts, Le Mans in France and the RPG Artists camp in Mumbai.

Gohain’s works are in private and corporate collections. He lives and works in Vadodara.

Himanshu Joshi

Himanshu Joshi did his graduation and post diploma in painting for Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Vadodara. He has received Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi award. He has attended several camps like Landscap camp, organised by Gujarat Lalit Kala Akademi, painting camp at Diu, organised by west zone cultural centre, Udaipur, painting camp at Saputara, Dang organised by Gandharvapur artist village, Wire mesh sculpture camp at Halol, Baroda.

Kiyomi Talaulicar

A gold-medalist from Sir J.J. School of Arts (Mumbai), Kiyomi Talaulicar earned an MFA in Painting at East Carolina University where she was awarded the Gravely Foundation Scholarship and the Liquitex Excellence in Art Award. She won the Jerome Foundation / Women’s Art Registry of Minnesota Scholarship, sponsoring collaboration with artists in other creative media. Her work has been exhibited through various juried and invitational group shows in the United States, England and India.

After having moved back to India in 2003, Kiyomi now lives and works in Mumbai. Her recent participations include cultural art camps to Brazil, Ladakh, and the annual RPG camp in Mumbai, and exhibitions such as Making History Our Own organized by SAHMAT at AIFACS Gallery in New Delhi, Creuset at the Art Room Gallery in New Delhi, Women’s Work at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Wisconsin USA, Grids & Datums at Gallery Osmosis in Mumbai, Ladakh, Landscape and Life at Gallery Espace in New Delhi, Myrrh at Tao Art Gallery in Mumbai, and In Search of Lyricism, her third solo exhibition at Gallery Chemould in Mumbai.

Mahendra Pandya

Prof. Pandya is a graduate and teacher from Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University. He has received many distinctions from British Council, Lalit Kala, Bombay Art Society and many more. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions in Japan, Sao Paolo and all over India.

Mahendra Pandya’s murals and monuments stand all over in India. His works are in collections of art connoisseurs all over India and abroad. His lectures and demonstrations in seminars are highly appreciated and are inspiring for all the students.

Pandya served as the Head of the Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University from 1972 to 1982 and retired as the Dean.

He is presently based in Baroda and still working at the age of 86.

Neel Pavan Baruah

Neel Pawan Baruah, who is originally from Assam is a graduate from Shantiniketan. He has also been their student of Ceramics, where they gave him a personal studio. He has been a teacher at Govt. College of Art and Crafts, Guwahati.

Baruah was one of the founder members of Assam Fine Arts Society. He established first children school for Art in Guwahati.

He organized and attended many art camps in Assam and outside. He did many solo shows in places like Kolkata, Lucknow, Orrisa, Guwahati, Mumbai and Baroda. He has been awarded the prestigious Pranab Baruah award, Bisnu Rabha award, Leo Expo award, Rotary award Tarun Duwara award and various government awards.

He currently stays and is continuously working in Assam.

Niyeti Chadha Kannal received her post graduation in Printmaking with a Gold Medal from the M.S.University, Baroda. She worked at the Garhi Printmaking Studio, New Delhi.

Niyeti has been a recipient of the Scholarship at the Manhattan Graphics Center NY, INLAKS Fine Art Award, INLAKS Foundation and Junior Research Fellowship granted by UGC, India.

Peter Bevan

Peter Bevan trained as a painter and graduated from the Royal College of Art. He taught Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art. Since visiting India for the first time, he has made sculpture, developing an international practice, exhibiting and working on artist residences in Scandinavia, India, Japan, China and the USA. Although having worked in stone, wood and most recently in bronze, his primary medium is ceramic. He studied Classical Asian Art on the British Museum / University of London Post Graduate Course, in preparation for a residency in India, working in collaboration with Indian artist, Ganesh Gohain. He has taught on the Summer Programme for the Prince's Drawing School, London and was awarded the Prince of Wales Bursary for the Arts at the British School at Athens. Hhe worked on a Bronze Sculpture Workshop at the Uttarayan Centre for Arts in Gujarat, a solo exhibition of drawings in Glasgow, "Love and Liberty" inspired by the work of Robert Burns and "Portraits of the Poet", 2D and 3D portraits of Burns. A permanent outdoor sculpture "Paisley Date Palms" was installed in the garden of House for an Art Lover, Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.

Santana Gohain, graduated in Print Making with distinction and did her post diploma in Print Making Specialization with first class from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Vadodara.

Santana received a Junior Fellowship, from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. She has attended several Art camps in India by Art Home, The Fine Art Company, Gallery Espace, Lalit Kala Akademi and the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Santana has participated in several shows in Vadodara, Delhi, Mumbai, New Jersey, San-Francisco, Bhopal, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Nagpur.

She participated in an exhibition with International Artists in Vadodara.
